I need help: FZ250 front sprocket

Can anyone point me in the direction of a front sprocket for an '85 FZ250 Phazer (1HX)?

I refuse to pay more than $100 for a genuine one, and Trevor Pierce couldn't find an aftermarket part. I've heard rumours that Afam make one though.

So has anyone ever found one?

Have a look here http://www.jtsprockets.com/52.0.html?&L=0 they are the same as the later FZR250 as well

You can compare all the different models and see what else fits

This is even better, compares the part number with other models/brands JTF1263 is the part number to put in

Thanks Kickaha, that website is awesome.

Are you sure that sprocket is the right one though?

I think that's what Trevor Pierce ordered in the first time - It's the same size, but the fz one has a raised shoulder on the face of it and this one doesn't.

I could use spacers I guess, but they said I shouldn't.

the 1HX is the same motor used in the FZR although slightly different (alternator cover and no exup). My work mate has the FZ and I had 2x 2KR FZRs. There are only minor differences in the engine/frame....brakes fairings and subframe differ.

I'm almost certain the 2KR FZR sprocket will fit

It said 1HX in the list beside it when I searched the site
