Where did this come from and has it been on Kb at all?

    http://m.kiwiblog.co.nz/2009/11/moto...accidents.html

Quote"... It amazes me that the same people who support banning pies (fat maxxx help) from tuckshops on the basis it may extend someone’s life by a few months in 60 years years time, don’t think incentives to reduce the number of motorcycle accidents are justified.

Now don’t get me wrong. If people want to ride motorcycles, good on them. Unlike Labour/Greens, I don’t believe in banning things just because they may be bad for you" NOT BAD FOR THE ENVIROMENT RIGHT

"But if you choose to drive a motorcycle, then you should at least cover the costs of the greater accident risk. At the moment car drivers massively subsidise the cost of ACC for people who choose to drive a far more risky form of transport".

Bet there is some truth in that comment.

You might want to put your post in quotes, otherwise people will think you wrote it.

That's a whole lot more polite than my personal feelings about the man, I do not like liars much...

Some of the comments in the O/P quoted web site are interesting, car drivers feeling that we should be stung for more, and as some of them say if it is "no fault" it does not technically matter that a rider may be in hospital because a car took him out or not.

So many arguements and so much time spent talking about this and still we really are at square one,

I say get rid of Nick Smith and his lies and those who advise him and Vote for John Clease and his silly hat Click image for larger version.
