    A little favour please

When you are on your bike, can all of you consider yourselves totally irreplaceable to your loved ones, your wife/hubby/partner, your children and your friends? Think about how hard it will be for them if you are not there anymore.

Will you please engage your brain and your spidey sense before you get on your bike, even if you are just heading to the shops. Good gear will help.

Dont take risks for the sake of a bit of adrenaline (it is over rated in my experience and I have had the pure shit, they inject it if you are really needing a boost), we ride bikes, they go fast and have ommph if we need to use it, please respect it.

If you notice you are making mistakes (may you not pay the ultimate penalty for them in the meantime) slow down until you can get some training, or more experience.

RIP Adrian - I hoped like hell it was not you...

Hey Anne, I thought of you the other day when I saw the news about the Warkworth accident - I got on here and saw you posting about a plumber or something everyday and average and was glad that you were obviously at home and on the computer instead of the biker on the news...
Sucks for that biker's family though

Saw the news and was concerned. I'm so glad that it wasn't you or Mark, Anne.

    My condolences.

If you can make it on Kiwibiker you can make it anywhere.

Hey Mom......I always think of the family when riding...but that doesn't mean that adrenalin doesn't take over sometimes.
The more I ride the easier I take it. I would hate to put my family through unecessary pain.

However..the road is the road and the danger is always there. Its my passion and to give it up for the sake of the family means that I would not be true to myself and indulge the passion that is the strongest.

    You only live once!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree with everything you posted. All I ask is to consider your nearest and dearests. No giving up required.

always do and i never get on the bike after an arguement or if im mad. My father was taken from us before i got to no him and i never want to put my family through that. But like corse1 said riding is my passion and to be without it incase of a maybe would be wrong.
    RIP to all fallen riders.

Hmmm... If I did that with my wife's picture, I'd spend too much time staring at her and not where I'm going...
