Lost WOF label - what can I do?

The wof has vibrated off the back of my bike on Tuesday night on a ride. Now apart from scowering the road along which it probably fell off. Is there a way to get the WOF label reprinted? Because the info is kept with NZTA when my warrant expires doesn't it and it's good till July/August I seem to remember.

So really I shouldn't have to go and get another WOF just because I lost a piece of paper, so how would I go about getting another WOF sticker/container to put on the back?

Go along to where the WOF was issued and they will write you out a duplicate.

a duplicate may even be free of charge, if you go to the same VTNZ for example. I had to get one reprinted from a different branch, cost about $7-8

I bought the bike off a guy from Levin. So warrant would have been issued there....

    Aren't all VTNZ's linked?
Surely you could go to any one?

So? ride to Levin. No biggie.
Then get a "proper" WOF holder and attach it to the bike.

Any VTNZ, VINZ or AA can do a re issue for you as they have the access to when and where it was done. Some will charge you, some are all good and do it for free

Yes, but from what they told me, only the original will replace for free...

Do all the VTNZ branches sell those plastic bike and trailer WOF holders?
