Good luck with that Bart. Make sure that they are aware of the deadline.

Got the new clutch fitted, gearbox on, & airbox on. Spent a lot of time buggerising around with trying to remove a bear from the cluth pivot. In the end I've left it there...Still works. The new one can sit on the shelf for a couple of weeks.

Tomorrow I'll put the shaft, shock etc back on & a ton of other 'stuff'.

I was surprised, but then he does ride the bike fairly vigorously. See some of this other videos.

I guess one of the disadvantages of a braced frame is that it transfers the stresses to other areas.

I probably would have arranged other transport from there, but I think Altus is connected with the HPN workshop in Sth Africa. Not too much of an issue for him. Notice he braced /tacked top area, but didn't attempt to directly fix the break. My guess is he'll gusset this back at the workshop.

Altus Pienaar. Do a search on You Tube for his videos. He rode some with Metal Jockey. I think (but could stand to be corrected) he is also Dust Devil on ADVrider.

I could not believe the amount of bags and luggage on that BMW, WOW! There must be some really strong frames and cross members underneath all of that. It looked like one of those Nepalese sherpas I saw with the tump line and all of their belongings carried on the head. I didn't see the wide load sign, nor the Pilot vehicle...
The red Beemer looked cool, sounded nice too. Nice video.
