    You're just a cockstain that doesn't know what he's talking about.
    If it wasn't for a concise set of rules, we might have to resort to common sense!

    Don't forget theres nearly 60 other "secure*" carparks in the CBD that are free (Wilsons and Auckland City). And don't forget there's roadside parking as well.

    While it was nice to have tournament parking as free, if they want to charge, no one is really forcing you to use them, just need to walk a bit further to work from another park, or not pass that hot blond in the coffee shop each morning

    * used lightly

    Ther are offering a service, its up to you wether you use it...freeloader
    I'm fine with them charging but its a bit on the nose to strike out at the casual users who have no idea the "rules" have changed.

    I agree but i am a casual user and yes i have choice and i chose to look elsewhere for my parking needs... no way will I pay the car rate to park a bike..

    And whoever said Get a Job.. YES i do have a job thanks..

    Tournament have made a lot of money from me parking my car in the past but i will try my best to avoid them where ever possible.

    I hope this doesn't mean other carparks in the CBD will start charging for motorbikes!

    Two weekends ago at an AT bike commuting safety course, the AT representative said there were over a hundred free bike parks in the four ACC parking buildings in the city and no intention of converting them to pay spaces. 80 spaces alone on the top floor of the Downtown Car park building.

    AWESOME! And you can leave your bike there overnight for a week of nights in a row? As I might find myself only using my bike once a week.

    Wilsons

    Hi all, just picked this up now. We've just moved offices to Anzac Ave in Auckland, is the Wilsons still free for bikes? Went for a walk yesterday and no people in there to ask, didn't see any bikes either. Cheers team.

    All the Wilson's carparks operate via a central call centre. You can have a chat to one of their operators via any of the pay machines or the entry/exit columns. I would check with them just in case as they do have people roving their carparks sorting stuff out etc.
