    VTR Firestorm pipes

Has anybody else seen these pipes on ebay?

Any comments on their quality etc? They seem real cheap...

As long as they are loud, get them! I couldn't hear much for the V twin throb on the way to Paeroa. Maybe my old SV made me deaf to that sound or you were to fast

I had a set of microns with the words 'Not For Road Use' etched into them - goood times!

If you plan on getting some let me know as I may be interested as well so that could cut down on shipping

From the website, it appears that the shiping is free!

Its a very subdued V-twin sound, I know - all very civilised from Honda. I appreciate it (as do my neighbours) when leaving for gym/work at 6:00 in the morning, but wish it were a little louder on outrides....

Actualy, have you seen this? A removable baffle!

Over on the USA Hornet site a couple of guys have purchased them for their Hornets.

Reviews read like: Look good from about 2 metres away - welds are a bit shit up close (compared to the welding works of art that Yoshi and the likes do), short and loud with a questionable life span, but at the price ....... also some question on the carbon quality.

I'd recommend, bang for buck you search for Delkevic pipes for your ride - these are also very well priced and are reviewing well.

Also try http://www.blueflameperformance.com/...evel-pair.html - dearer but very nice pipes and heaps cheaper than NZ new.

Also over NZ$400 will be a small tax and GST when they arrive (unless customs ignore them).

You may want to check/ask that the mid pipes are the right length as I, and MotoXparts in Auckland had major issues with TBR in regards to the pipes on my bike and other peoples as well.

TBR had to make a smaller length mid pipe to fix the leak comming from the gasket line on my bike.

You could also gives these guys a try, they're an NZ company.
