In an effort to be a model of efficiency, I put my wee bike up for auction on TM about a week out from being eligible to sit the full licence test. Unbeknownst to me, the AA have a policy of unnecessarily delaying anyone who has a pulse, and the earliest test I could book was march the 1st.
So: Auction complete, bike is gone, and I'm at a bit of a loss for the licence testI'd wondered about approaching a dealer to see if I could test ride something at 9am on march 1...I've tried to find somewhere i might be able to hire a bike but it's all looking a bit dire. I'm in Hamilton, sitting the test at Five Xroads...
Can anyone think of a cunning Plan B to replace my shortsighted plan A? Cheers!

) I'm on there and the earliest place I could book was the 1st of march, at 5 cross rds, hamilton. I checked auckland, tokoroa, huntly, morrinsville, cambridge, otorohonga, tekuiti and taupo, and rotorua. Then I rang them, and she said that was the case, and that cancellations would enter the system and then be snapped up, so it wasn't like I could go on a waiting list or anything.
Boyd suzuki have come through with a cheapish rental, and I consider the cost of that to be my fine for impatience
