    Help with a new bike?

Wanting to buy a 2009/2010 R6, anyone know of any good deals?

Is there much of a difference between them?

Or should I wait till the 2011 ones come out and pick one up when they are getting rid of 2010 stock?

Pretty sure there will be no '11 model. Will just be the same as '10. I would assume next year will be their new one. Could be wrong though.

In fact the bike seems largely unchanged since '07. Only real changes are in the engine and even then they don't seem major.

Everyone seems to say R6s are terrible, why are you set on one? Would be interesting to know...

Or have you not ridden one yet? Since that seems to be the deal breaker

I thought you were calling steel001 "white trash" for wanting an R6.

Lol, I thought that was mean, but then I got it once I read more posts

Hey mate I have ridden an 09 R6, 09 CBR600, I had an 08 GSX-R , didn't sit right on the Honda loved my GSX-R but dont like the look of the new ones and found the R6 to be a great bike to ride.

Haven't ridden a 675, but will before I buy an R6 might even make me change my mind who knows?

You missed out the 09 ZX-6R?!?!?!

I have no idea haven't even had the luxury of being on a 600 yet, BUT SOON MY TIME SHALL COME. And I'll prob end up with the ZX-6R because I'm partial to the ridiculousness plus it's only a teensy bit slower than the R6 and much nicer for the road apparently since R6's are much more track oriented? Or is that another fib I heard.

I can assure you that they are FAR from "terrible" in fact they are quite wicked to say the least.
In saying that...I did prefer the '09+ ZX6R for its ergo's and torque. Some excellent deals going on those at the moment too.
The R6 really does its bizzo in the high revs...outstanding at the track.

2011 model is unchanged from '10. Anyone who reckons that the R6 is "terrible" has certainly never ridden one. They're the smallest and tightest feeling chassis of all the 600s and literally feel like a race bike. I suppose softie road riders may find them a bit extreme........ Can't keep me off the fricken thing.

Steel001. Gimme a PM if you'd be interested in an ex demo. Blue, fitted with GYTR pipe.
