09 300exc

hi all

may have the opportunity to upgrade my 07 300 to a 09

will be my bike and cash obviously

question is, is the 09 much better than my 07 exc-e?

it has only a handful of hours

what was new with 09. i know the 08 received the new frame, what else?

not quite sure but I know my 08 was the first of a major revision which seems to happen every three years!
So I would check this out you might find your a year shy of the next revision cycle and its worth buying the next year up??

Not sure about the 300 but someone like KTm boy might post and put you right!!

EDIT: just realised your goin from 07 to 09 so you might be ok

Yeh you got it!!

Same with my 08 200exc!
I was just really lucky it came with forged clamps which already had the 18deg steering head angle they went to on the 09 model!

Probably keep mine till direct injection or something comes in I can't outride it anyway and I spent a grand on the suspension set up for my weight so its all I need!

Get the 09!!
