There competing for the win, you have to do what you have to do, Reed saw the gap and went for it knowing that either he was going down or the both of them, its good it shows that he is ready to put it all on the line and ride on the edge, its easy to see that now that CR is riding on the edge that he has the speed!

I think that the Yamaha doesnt suit JS style, he is a wide open kinda guy and the only bike that works like that is the Kawi, ask RV i bet you thats what he would say.
If a man is walking in a forest and no women is there to hear him is he still wrong?

see i dont think they were competing for the win riding like that cause both guys knew if the other guy comitted to it that neither would win, i think they just saw red and decided to take each other out. i think its dissapointing because both of them were riding an awsome first 19 laps and noone had anything for them. i'd just had to see another repeat of last year and them take each other out just when the racing is getting good - i think reed has really become a game changer in the championship and he might be the motivation stewart needs to get it done

as for yami/kawi, how are they any different? the last dyno curves i saw for the 450's were so close to identical it wasnt funny, why would the yami be less 'wide open' than the kawi - if i remember rightly the kawi actually had slightly more power bottom end than the others?

Nothing to do with power, its the handling of the bike, the kawi frame setup is more suited to that sorta style, im pretty sure that CR actually mentioned last year in the outdoor, that the only way to ride the Kawi was to have a really loose and aggressive style, hang it out basically, and that is the same way that RV and JS ride.

How about JS on a KTM 150SX??

Now that would be a sight to see.

since he can not spank the field with a bike the same size anymore, i think the days of 2004 when Bubba was faster on a 125 than the rest of the feild on 250F's are long gone, the truth seems to be that RV, Dungey, Reed are now a hell of a lot closer in speed to Bubba now than ever before, and the racing is way better because of it

but i would pay to watch all of these guys race 125's again

If i remember too, i will post the live link here, Daytona this weekend should be good, i just downloaded the track from MX simulator and i currently running 1:34 min lap times but should be able to shave another couple seconds off, so im guessing that in real life they would be running 1:17 min lap time, which equates to 20+ min main event!!

I think Ken Rokzen on the 350 is going to do really good on this one! Very outdoors feel to the track!

justin.tv shows live feeds when it is on the TV in the US live, i normally keep up with the pulpmx and racerx tweets,

www.vitalmx.com normally has videos posted in the message board pretty quick,

be interesting to see how the 350's go, Daytona is pretty soft in places and may lack the power,

be interesting to see Reed vs Bubba if they start together, RV should be strong here as well, and Dungey as well, he is the current outdoor champ,

there is a new start apprantly this year, which hopefully will help, the old first corner caused alot of problems

Yeah for sure, i think the 350 will do ok in the soft dirt, with Roger on there side im pretty sure he will have a few setups in mind.

I hope that we dont see CR and JS in the same heat, hope they save that for the main, as for RV he will be lightning fast for sure, just like last year! As for RD, he needs to work on his starts, if he starts mid pack, he has no chance!

Hadn't heard of this software. Whats it like compared to MX VS ATV Reflex? Do you us the keys on the keyboard to control the bike or some sort of controller? What does it cost? Can you play other people online?

Sorry for all the questions, just interested

The latest tracks is a damn good idea

The software cost $60 from www.mxsimulator.com and then all the tracks and gear etc are free from then on (you can also get the latest helmets, bikes etc), yes you can race online, in fact they follow the AMA supercross series and have proper races every Friday with qualifying, heats 1 & 2, LCQ and then Main event, they also keep scores and a fully detailed race report.

I play with my PS3 controller.

The game itself takes a long time to get used to, its like Grand Turismo but for dirt bikes, you can adjust the level of oil & thickness in your forks, the spring rate, the number of teeth on your sprocket the list goes on and on! i would suggest playing on Arcade physics to start with and then turn it off, once the arcade physics come off it will take you about 2 weeks before you start to run consistent laps.

PS: i just got my Daytona lap times to 1:28 with a few mistakes

Wow, just watched it on MySky. Pretty tight racing, I was gutted to see Trey Canard go down. I admire his style and hope he can keep chipping away and stay near the top of the table. The top 5 are all pretty close.

Seems opinions are pretty divided over the JS / CR 'crash'. I'm more a CR fan but I disagreed with that block pass. There absolutely no intention to ride around the corner, he just aimed straight at the blocks to cause the crash. JS senior was certainly throwing his toys after the race. RV must have thought it was Christmas!

To those using Sky, if you can't find it on the guide just visit skytv.co.nz and punch in AMA Supercross. It will come up with all the viewing times for the following week. Only downside is that it never mentions what round it is.
