    NZ bike licence in Ireland?

Ok, I know I could Google this but I thought I would probe the KB Think Tank on this.

Heading home to the Uk later this year and will be heading over to the Emerald Isle for a few days. I will be hooking up with a bunch of the MAG Ireland guys as well as the Cashel MC (bunch of good blokes).

They have a spare bike to lend me, all good, and they want to do a day out with their old mukka. Now, how does a NZ Provsional License go with the UK / Eire? Amyone been there, done that, or should I waste perfectly good food porn time on the net and go Google.....?

I lived there is the early 00's.
I had a UK licence but not an Irish one.
Got pulled by a Garda for 'undertaking' on a motorway.
" I don't need an 'Irish' licence as I'm in the EU"
Him " So tell me lad, do you drive over from Ealing every day then boi.?" ( it was Cork)

    " no...."
" then you need to go down to the station and get an Irish one..."

The next day at the Station...
" No...you can drive around on a UK licence"

apparently you can exchange an Aussie one...but not a Kiwi one.
    Grand sooooo....

I would't even worry about it as you don't even need a Feck'n WOF/MOT on a bike there....
Cashells cool....I'm a round tower fan... there are over 70 you know....?
DeMyer's Laws - an argument that consists primarily of rambling quotes isn't worth bothering with.

2007, Hired car, drove 2000Kms, NZ license, no probs apart from completly CRAP local drivers.
English drivers were sublime compared to my 7 days in the Emerald Isyles.
    Good luck.
With my beer tinted glasses I'm ready to biddy battle,
I'm hungry like the wolf, but I'll end up tending cattle!

You'll just need to hold it upside down ...
"So if you meet me, have some sympathy, have some courtesy, have some taste ..."
