Can anyone let me know the rout they take you on if you do the test in Orewa?
Can anyone let me know the rout they take you on if you do the test in Orewa?
Why do you need to know the route?
Do you feel you are not capable of riding on the road?
If the answer is "Yes" then rebook your test.
If the answer is "No" then why does the route matter?
When I finally got round to doing my 6R I didn't care where they wanted me to go as I was confident in my riding ability to pass the test. (Although after 40,000Kms I would have thought so)
But good luck on your test anyway![]()
White Trash Pearls of Wisdom #2654 - Refering to yourself in the 3rd person: The only thing gayer, would be being caught handcuffed around a public toilet bowl, an apple stuffed in your mouth and George Michael administering an epic caneing to your exposed cheeks while Boy George documents the event on a handicam.
I would ride around the area that they do the test to get use to the intersections amount of traffic etc. The more you ride the more confidence you will get! The testing officers are pretty good and if you have proper gear Not jeans and an old peer of boots they see you are responsible and I believe they are a bit easier
Good luck, you'll be fine
I’m not sitting if until next month and be leave Ill have no issues. I was just curious as to see where they take people. As for the Jeans thing, I’m stuffed then as I have Shift Kevlar jeans not big bulky black bike pant.
Just make sure your bike is in warrantable condition (they check indicators front and back, headlights, rear lights (including breaks on), and horn).
Aside from that, don't worry, the test is really easy. Just practice riding at 45 to 50kph on the way to the test centre, and get there early.
Oh, and stop for stop signs![]()
Also, they check for whether you move your head to check for hazards and obstacles. As far as my restricted was concerned, My riding was spot on, but I was not checking for hazards often enough. Hopefully more experience and help from a decent Defensive Driving course should rectify that.
I'm sure that if your confident in your abilities then you should pass with flying colours.
Here's one I prepared earlier.... coz I'm psychic like
