quads are a pain in the arse. but if you come across one with a rider who realises this and pulls over for you, its all good, its the ones who think youre behind them cos theyre faster than you, are the annoying ones.no its not a race but it is really. in the wet the quads are in there element and you normally cant catch them, so everyones happy

fucken things. always holding everyone up on the tight sections,

often found blocking the track on "NO QUADS" sections when the operator has not seen / ignored the signs,

back to the dairy farm where they belong!

search the quad bashing thread from a while ago to read more.... lol

but seriously, the ultimate solution is quads saturday, 2 wheels sunday - of course this doubles the effort / time required by organisers
Just admit it Booom you are a quad basher cause ya a gay Honda Rider Ha Ha

It's not really a Quad problem, more like an arsehole problem

On a Motorcycle you're penetrating distance, right along with the machine!! In a car you're just a spectator, the windshields like a TV!!

'Life's Journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out! Shouting, ' Holy sh!t... What a Ride!! '

Funny you should say that, was flicking through the latest Dirt Action mag last night and spotted a full page advert for Honda Racing hats, jackets, t-shirts and all that other stuff normally left to us KTM riding fart knockers.

At least when I wear my hat, people don't think I roll in a lowered 5 door Civic with underbody neons and chrome 20's...

Actually a KTM toaster is pretty cool, & I ride a GasGas so you'd think I would be well into poking fun.

Mind you, they haven't gotten around to fixing the rear suspension yet have they? Obviously can't man up to admitting a mistake. I mean even Yamaha fessed up & went back from five valve heads to 4. - 'Course what they really should have done is recanted the 4 stroke engine completely & gone back to making performance engines like they used to.
Don't you look at my accountant.

If you're talkinig about KTM and linkage rear ends... you might wanna look at my bike...

But on a serious note around merchandising, I actually think KTM are onto a good thing and Honda are obviously trying to do the same. I went to the British round of the MXGP last year and next to the KTM pit/truck was a stand with loads of merchandise and replica gear. I spent a while hanging around the Yamaha tent/truck doing some Coppins spotting and couldn't understand why you couldn't even get a Coppins replica jersey, thought it was a real missed opportunity...

Being a slower rider, I've always been told at rides to just hold my line.

in a open paddock that is exactly what you are ment to do,

in a tight one line bush section that it is impossible to pass on, moving over when you have a chance is good

It could be argued that it's up to the rider behind to find a safe overtaking opportunity and you are well in your rights to keep riding on your line, but just out of courtesy I always look for a safe place to pull over if there's a faster rider behind me.

I'm a slow rider & always pull over as soon as i can - even stop if i have to.

If you've held the rider behind up for ages, chances are they are gonna be pist off so that safe overtaking opportunity idea flies out the window as they just want past so will pass where ever.

Racing is a whole different ball game...
