Somehow I think you'll be OK and the insurance understand!

I might need a very large box for all the newspaper cuttings. Hopefully they've heard of this wee event.

Having dealt with many different franchise suppliers with regards to bikes, I'd solidly rate them as the worst. Suzuki or Harley-Davidson/Buell being tied for first place. Yamaha seem pretty good (now, they never used to be) as are KTM.

Ripping off clients and dealers with crazy accessory pricing and warranty protocols, piss poor follow up and service along with slow response times seems to be par for the course at TNZ.
Actually they're not bad. My son used to be the parts boy at Street and Sport, and he could get most things within 3 weeks if they were ex-UK and within 48 hours if they were in stock in NZ.

Pricing is pretty scary, but from what I understand most bike brands are as bad or worse, and much of that comes from the size of the motorcycle market in NZ. There aren't a lot of us, so volume buying doesn't enter the equation and we are a long way away so everything sent comes airfreight. Ther is also the fact that bikes are a luxury good, so everyone in the supply chain feels obliged to clip a little extra.

BTW, if you have ever paid for aircraft parts you'd hug your local parts wallah when he or she told you your disc rotor was $500.00
Don't blame me, I voted Green.

We work until 6-6.30 most nights just to clear all the days orders and get them on the couriers. And they are good enough to wait round for us too. If its there in the building and its been ordered, its gone out the door that day.
