    Lies and lies as if we didn't know - Wellington bike parking

    "News from the Wellington City Council
    The Wellington City Council has no intention of removing existing free motorcycle parking from the streets in the Wellington CBD, contrary to a media report today.

    "The Council is undertaking a separate review of motorcycle parking to consider, among other matters, whether the existing motorcycle parking spaces stay free.

    Nah. Not exactly.

    What they are doing is keeping ALL the free parks we already have.

    Plus those ones that we have had added to the free parks based on the information we supplied the Council.

    PLUS the opportunity to have parking in Car parking buildings with lockable areas for our gear, something we never had before.

    PLUS you will also now potentially have the opportunity to park in ANY pay and display park in Wellington.

    Please read the release properly.
    And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

    Trust me mate, if they remove the free parking the city will get closed down.

    It ain't worth the hassle. I've personally told the Council this.
