Time for an upgrade, but what?

Had my '01' XR250R for a while now. It was a great learner and it's still in mint cond. But I'm finding I want some extra punch and something a bit lighter with better handling. Looking at either the CRF250 or KXF250... only because I ride a Honda now and my sons have KDX200 and KX85 respectively and my road bikes a Suzuki so I'm not colour blind! but which would be best? Some good deals around the $4 to $5K at the moment.

Reviews and specs are similar... seems it's a call on condition and price alone.
