Was in california at a bicycle trade show in 96 and was looking at the vr1000 on display at a stand and had a britten t-shirt on a young guy comes up to me and comments on the britten then tells me he was the one who welded up the vr's frame and had a scrap book with him showing the frames in the jig and him welding them up I have pics somewhere it is a cool bike painted orange one side and black the other side.Shame it never made it into production and isn't there one in nz?
