    DRZ400SM engine help

    Hi,

Just got a DRZ400SM '08 and lovin it!

But... I noticed at the front left of engine this unit (looks to me like a pump of some sort??) is not secured properly?

Wondering if someone with the same bike would mind posting a pic of this unit on their bike so I can see how it should be attached? I think im missing a bracket of some sort?

    Any help appreciated.

    Cheers

Dude that's the emissions crud, the bike I'm guessing is the '08 Suzuki specialed a while ago?
    E19 Spec, Belgian.
I have removed all that rubbish as I have replaced the carb, interestingly enough where the plumbing enters the head was blanked...

Oh and it should be mounted via a longer engine mount bolt...

Cheers mate, yeah after more research Ive found that this is the 'pair valve' for emissions like you said. I will look at removing it soon.

    Thanks for your replies.
