    Help with photo!

    Hi all.
There is a fantastic (500cc GP I think?) photo of a GP rider giving the photographer the 'bird' mid race, mid corner & really scraping the knee sliders awsome!.Can anyone tell me,
    1.Who is the rider?
2.Can anyone provide a photo or link?
    It's driving me nuts!
Would really appreciate any help guys & gals.
    Cheers.

I think the rider was Randy Mamola, can't find it anywhere though. Sure someone will recall where and when which will help to find it.

Are you referring to the Barry Sheene v Kenny Roberts at Silverstone 1979, I cant find a photo using google but did find this quote on the motogp site, kenny Roberts discussing the incident.

"They got the classic picture when he gave me a sign behind his back! We both knew it was going to come down to the last lap because I couldn´t outrun him and he couldn´t outrun me"

A link to a video of the race, the commentator refers to it as waving.

There's this one of Wayne Rainey. He used to play a game with photographer Lou Martin where he would flip him the bird every time Lou took a photo of him.

Ya probably right, I remember seeing footage of him and Barry Sheene where Sheenes left foot came out in an attempt to connect with Mamola or his bike.
The finger thing, pretty sure it was Sheene.

There is VIDEO Rossi giving Biaggi the Bird.
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f71e__qZHjU

Rossi is on the bright yellow #46 Honda, and Biaggi is on the Red #3 Yamaha. Then they had a scrap at the end of the race on the way to the press conference.

Are you thinking of Marco Melandri on the 990 Honda? I think that was 06. Did a big rolling burnout holding a V for victory, fully crossed up at 200ks++?? Someone's got it as their avatar.
