    ZXR250A = Older model
    ZXR250C = New model

    Simmilar to a CBR250R and a CBR250RR. Easiest way to pick is the A model has 2 round headlights and the C model has one large headlight. Im not too sure of other differences. Does the A model have USD forks and larger rear wheel?
    Has anyone seen my baffles?

    Sorry - just came from the Winjanites thread.

    I heard somewhere that both were Kawamasazakis. That's the difference between them.
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

    The C model is the most desirable because of it's looks, which means it is more expensive. And the A model is heavier

    The ZXR has more tourque than the CBR and has a longer wheelbase, but supposedly the CBR is the faster of the 2. It's really a matter of personal preference

    Sif a ZXR is slower jeeezzzz why are they so sought after

    I'm sure this has been posted before recently but ill do it again:

    ZXR250A is heavier, different frame and engine design (different mounts etc from memory), more spokes from the center of the wheel (5 as opposed to 3 splitting into 2 each), KCAS 'cool air system' instead of the same system but called 'ram air' on the C model (!oh god a sticker!), twin individual headlights, different brakes from memory (I got a ZXR A rear on mine :|).

    Much rawer feeling/less user friendly than the cbr imo.

    I reckon they're evenly matched in performance. CBR might be faster cause it's lighter

    ZXR still looks better

    They are both equally fast at legal speeds....

    Buy a CBR if you're a tiny fella

    Otherwise you will be happy with either ZXR - I seriously doubt you will be troubled by the performance diff between them......they're both dast enough in the real world

    The 250A is 171kg dry (shudder)

    Both of those specs were from the manuals of the respective bikes.

    That bike site aint always right either eg 3pot callipers on some nutty race bikes which have 6 pots etc etc and some bikes with shit amounts of HP when they actually have much more.

    Meh. best site out there at the moment

    http://www.importmc.com.au/bikes/mc22/index.htm CBR- 158kg
    http://www.importmc.com.au/bikes/zxr250c/index.htm ZXR - 171kg

    You should go down to Taupo next track day. Might get a chance to compare the bikes properly instead of relying on what we find on the net
