    E09 Front

I found these disappointing - tread depth when new appeared less than a comparable Pirelli MT21 or the popular D606. Found the E09 front didn't offer sufficient 'bite' in gravel for me - washed out very easily

As others have said - hard to beat the E07 rear in all conditions cept mud and wet grass - if I new it was going to remain dry I'd be leaving my worn E07 rear on for the Pukemanu will prolly replace with a used E09 I have

    Cheers Aslan

take the baffle out of your muffler as it eliminates the howling

D606 front and E07 rear is my personal favourite combo on the klr. E07 is great in everything but mud & wet grass.

E07 rear lasts 7000k E09 rear last 5000k D606 rear lasts 3000k (all one up on KLR)
Totally agree. 606 front & E07 rear are my all time best. I've got a tyre on the rear (can't remember what it is but E09 like) of the KLR & is superb for knarlyoff road stuff.
