Nhuahn and Quasi both went from 03 bikes to the new 05 and they both claim to love it (personally I think they are stuck with them now, so have to love them).. I've ridden a few 05 bikes, and I'm still more than happy to stick with mine. The power delivery on my 04 is a bit more raw than the 05, and while people are saying the 05 has more power, it's almost 'hidden', where as the 04 just rips it up and spits down the power. I prefer a beast over a pussy cat, not that the 05 is a pussy, not by far, I'm just still hung on the roar of the 04, which is something else that's been dulled a little on the 05 bikes.

I also prefer the shape of my bike over the 05s too, the 05s have a softer front, where as the 03/04 bikes are sharper in the lights and nose.

One thing I do like on the 05 over the 03/04 bikes is the slightly lower seating position, and the steering is a tad lighter and sharper on the 05s..

Nhuans bike is red. The 'burnt red' looks like orangey brown..

It doesn't look too bad in that pic. Most of the photos of the bike in 'Titanium' don't look that great

Yeah but in person titanium is awwwweeesome. And would be my pick if it came down to it......

Green is great and all that - but it's got too much shit factor.....

Shit Factor: Oh look at my cool bike - come and steal it, race me, give me a ticket, blah, blah, blah......

mate what you need are some decent photos of that bike -- like in some great scenic location or under the city lights or something cool......

If you do have them then please post some.....

I don't have a camera or would have organised a photo session or something.....

Keep it shiny - no bug-juice allowed on that bike..... only on you

I have a pretty decent camera, and my work has just agreed with me on getting me an even better camera. Very sweet, dropped off last week, so I have been playing a little with it.

The bike isn't ready for decent shots tho. a) she needs a clean, but in this weather, it's just not worth it; and b) she isn't ready for the shots yet. I want to sort a couple of things out before I go hard out with the shots. Hopefully alll will be done soon, then I won't be able to stop taking shots!!

I'll do all the usual ones, like the top of Mt Eden, on the start line of Puke, on the beach, mission bay at dusk, in my bed, Rangitoto in the back ground, other bikes around it, other 636s around it, riding/cruising, wheeling etc.. heaps of shots to come..

[edgit] thanx Feint. I do quite like the o5 wheels over my ones tho..

What we need are night time shots in the city....

Under covered parking areas or in the city streets......

With a small rag we can dry the bikes in 5 minutes.....so weather is not a prob

At night small flaws are covered up - so a little dust here and there wont be highlighted.

You have a tri pod or a stool??

And F you got a larger size pic of BJ's bike - the last one with the blurred back ground?? There's also a swanny version of that shot too yaa??

could you if possible e-mail them to me at motorwayracer@yahoo.com

Yeah now I remember it -- you also got a video camera eh??

Ever thought of making a video review of your bike(well you probably have, but are too busy- but just asking)?? Like a top gear cage review?? You got a pretty clear accent for a narrator and I'm sure inbetween FEINT and me we could handle some camera work??

We could script it as a 04 vs 05 thingee......

Plenty of open roads around..... including cheenic dwive

I've got the works, and know how to do it. It's just the bike isn't ready yet. Altho with the moon and sky been like it has, it's been tempting to do it, but I've just not been in the right place at the right time. Feint as a much better pro-camera (I'm looking at getting one too), so that'd give a better shot than my G5, altho the work camera is a Canon ProShot1 which isn't bad at all. End of the day, these cameras are getting to a point where they're all good.. I also have plenty of footage of it on and off the bike. Just needs a clean like I said, and a couple of bits done to it, before I can really let loose. I've always wanted to have a machine (car, bike etc) that was a bit special. Cars cost to do up, and get nicked and damaged all the time. Bikes are way more cheaper and the effectiveness is even better. So I just want to do a few subtle things to this (may be even the paint job of my profile pic), then she'll be top-shelf-mag-quality stuff..

Know exactly what you mean mate..... I tried to go the cage route but saw sense early, the dollars add up at a stupid rate

Can't wait to see you get your bike up to your dream standards :

I'm dreaming of something similar when I get my full......
