Thanks to all who took part.
So many different people with the same message.
Thank you Dave for your help and input into this event.
Like I said, with the right people behind an idea, it takes bugger all for it to be a success.
No fanefare or drama, just a 'get out there and do it' attitude makes for a humbling experience.
Thanks Dave!

Taa,
And yes Ms G - what can you say.
So sad, some of that yesterday made me a bit glad too. Which I'm guessing is a lot easier to say if your house is still standing.
Stills - While the video was running I cranked off a heap of pics of the ride crossing the bridge. These are on flickr at full res if you want to see if I got you.

Mr Virago - will you change the thread title to 'Quake video and pics' please? Or something appropriate.
Cheers for a good ride on Saturday. Well organised and for a damn good cause
Thanks very much for doing this everyone. It was great to see the video and hear everyone's comments on it too. Very much appreciated - Cheers.
The views expressed above may not match yours - But that's the reason my Dad went to war - wasn't it?
Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, .... but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out,... shouting "man, what a ride"!!!
Your support for us down here is much appreciated guys and gals, but i only stumbled across this posted here, thought i would have heard about this on local news or something. Even word of mouth. Im worried not enough of us cantabs know how much yous up north are trying to do. Huge thanks and it all helps. Enjoy your smooth roads and hopefully we will have ours sorted soon
lets flip a coin... HEADS i get TAIL, TAILS i get HEAD
