    Paint scheme

Well seeing as i am a poor student i will be spraying my bike as i have done in the past...... but i don't think i want the one clour thing. And seeign as i don't have a professional setup i was thinking of this as a paint scheme with the "white bits" actually silver and the blue bits metallic and a bit darker like the mv pic

I don't understand the question. I use a compressor and spray gun in my back yard / garage and such things but usually it's just a one colour sort of deal, You know black or blue r whatever. I am trying to get a bit more crafty and go (although the easy road) 2 colours.

Gonna be doin some painting myself soon. I hear using masking tape helps to make good lines when doing multi colours. You just pain the whole thing one colour, lay on the tape on the areas you want to be that colour then paint it all the second colour. Remove tape. Probably a few more steps in there but not that hard to figure out. Be sure to practice on a spare peice first.

Well I didnt know how you previously had done it, if you have the gear then go nuts.

Not a fan of blue, being color blind makes blue look very purple to me, hence tristans gay bike so purple.

i know the current stickers don't look so hot.

The cunning part is all the silver bits are actually seperate pieces do no masking tape is required

    Thumbs up

If you know you can do a good job of it, I say go for it. It will be a one off and should turn a few heads. When a mate repainted mine for me it went from a boring red to gold (all one colour mind) and had a few people asking me about it as it looked modern.

Paint it with blackboard paint, that way you can change the "stickers" every week. Sick of riding a honda, make it a ducati for the day, tomorrow it could be a triumph.
