Have been on 600s 750s and 400s since my learners a few years ago. First bike was a NC30 VFR400. Drove responsibly and never got caught. Having never been snapped I didn't feel the need to fork out $ and climb the bureaucracy ladder. However I finally got around to doing my restricted the other day... feels like money down the drain though.
If you want a 600 then just get one... it's only $100 if you get caught- no problems. I say resurrect the MC22 though... great bikes. After riding all kinds of bikes I feel a 600 doesn't really make sense purely for a commuter bike unless you go to track a lot or just love to pose.
