Headin' south

Got the week off b4 easter so im heading 2up across on the ferry to catch up with family and friends and to do a bit of a tour of the south island .

Day 1 . Leave Wairarapa catch the ferry and stay night in blenheim .

Day 2 . Ride to greymouth via nelson lakes going via westport for a coast ride .

Day 3 . Head off thru the pass towards ashburton via methven .

Day 4 . Ride to twizel via mt cook .

Day 5 . Ride back to ashburton via waimate .

Day 6 . Head back to blenheim SH1 .

Day 7 . catch the ferry then home .

Only got limited time and plus its 2up so i dont want co-pilot complaining bout her arse ....

Is there any places of interest along the way thats worth a looksy ....

Hope yours is going better than mine. Me & the Thunderbird are stuck in the Picton Bluebridge Ferry line, boat 2.5 hours late. Was heading to New Plmouth tonight, looks like it will be an unscheduled stay in Wellywood instead.

Got back on sat , had an awesome time . Got drizzle at picton to blen , ashburton to geraldine then it pissed down at picton again on the return , otherwise it was blue sky ..
