Great service from Boyles in Wellington

    Hi folks.
Thought that I'd stick a post on here to let folks know that I received some great service from the guys down at at Boyles, in Newtown, Welly. Makes a change from ranting about how bad service can sometimes be these days.
I have a '97 GSX400 that I use for daily commuting, and it was getting really difficult to start. So, I gave it a good going over, and it was definitely a carb. issue, something that I didn't really want to tackle with there being 4 of the little sods. Mark down at Boyles removed, cleaned, reset, adjusted and rebalanced 'em, and it's running sweet as. These guys are great to deal with - they know their stuff, and did a really good value job.
I'd be interested to hear of any other good, bad or plain ugly stories re bike shops/service, as there comes a time for most folks when their bike has to go into one of these places for something or other.

Been taking my bike to them for some 3 years now - and my friend took her mechanically challenged CB550 in which covered more k being wheeled in and out of their workshop then being ridden. They had a budget of a few hundred but did far more and didn't charge for it.
Am slightly biased to the old fashioned type of service but it works and customers come back. As John said "we love recessions"
