Cheers for that. Should be able to get something cut out. I bet you love cleaning those white wheels

Almost don't want to modify the belly pan seeing as its sitting there mint but hey I think it gives it a better look.
What sort of pipe are you running with that factory pro chip? I have a Gbro twin map chip coming from Italy this week.....hope its arrival coincides with some sunshine.

I priced up the carbon fibre parts for the bike in standard setup this week..7K

Factorypro EPROM with a collector pipe mod(involved adding 2 balance pipes between the two cylinder pipes,so Im told!)

Smooths the notorious dip in the torque curve at 5k nicely

Most skilled stainless Dairy tube welders can do this mod its not that hard if you know what you are doing . Last one was $140 .... Have a Mangers roll at my work running the shop I was the head welder in so don't get to get out on the floor to do homers as easly as before but still can do in my time off . Lets know if you hava welder close by that you can show collector to , have more pics of the link pipes if needed ..... Have spare collector left so would be an exchange deal .. if ya can't sort a local welder out

Yeah have a welder here who is great with Stainless but he handed his notice in on Monday so will not have him available. Might PM you when the time comes to see if the swap is still available....

Can you give me the diametersrs of the pipes used. Your photo shows that the first link pipe mod must have been completed earlier (in front of the picture)

Yea I ran the front link for the last 3ys & didn't really feel the need to do the other one ... but due to the fact that I was developing a new tune with 57mm throttle bodys etc I thought while the bike is apart I may as well do it to see how it worked over the single front mod .. Once all the parts where back in place I found I had abit of a job to sort out my state of tune to my fussy perfection which didn't happen over nite used all 12 of my eproms & 8 PCIII mapps with alot of injector trimpot adjusting & TPS changes etc to where the bike is now but must say the extra bottom/mid range boost was all sweet .. This may be alot less if a dyno was avaliable but I tune my bike myself with back to back runs on my test road & from the information I have learnt over the last 4ys of my development work .. Pipe diameter depends on how much flow you are after which effects the tune as well ... I used 1-1/4 " on some & 1-1/2" others 304 grade S/Steel

Yeah have received a Gabro chip from Italy with twin maps. One aggressive and one not so. A V2 and V5 map. Put a switch in the restriction wire and away i go but he tells me not to do the collector pipe mod with these maps as I need less fuel at low revs and a shitload more fuel in mid range.

Apparently the chip will improve things a lot without the mod??

Yeah but I already have this one. Maybe next summer when I am used to the improvement the chip makes on its own............
