140 is still resonably safe...160 is getting too quick for me...if i had a bigger bikei could go faster...but the 250 cant push me tight round the corners like a big bike can...

because when the 250 dirfts if doesnt have enough grunt to sustain it...so it tries to highside ya.
what the fuck are you talking about?

250s drifting? you been smoking again?
and smaller bikes go better around tight corners anyway, perhaps its corner speed not cc that your lacking.

knee down on anything that resembles a corner, provided theres nobody around to see

this has to be the understatement of the year. 250's - yes they can, maybe you just don't know how.

Mr. Stroud & co. have been noted at taking the first corner at Puke at around 72.2mps (Metres Per Second) he's even had his elbow scraping the tarmac - so much for looking at your speedo mid corner eh??

    KPH / 3.6 = MPS

I don't go out to scrape sliders on the road - thats what a track is for, to push the limits.

It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.

That's the Molesworth Street onramp. The Aotea onramp is the one by the ferry terminal.

Are you advocating a calculator strapped to the tank for those that failed maths at school? I would have trouble inputing the numbers while texting my wife on how fast I was going...............thinks..........cellphone with inbuilt calculator

I agree with that, but I also think that that level of commitment doesn't really work on the road. Apart from round abouts and some of the off ramp style corners mentioned previously when do you ever need to have the bike leaned over that far and long enough to even think about knee dragging?

To me road riding is about connecting all the corners together as smoothest fashion possible in a way where I have the maximum traction available at all times, it's not only safer but usually quicker too.

Although he didn't drag his knee (before his elbow, fairing, indicator etc) ask Weaver about big lean angle on the road.
