Our thoughts are with Dave. Here's hoping everything ends up where it's supposed to be.

Thanks Crashe for giving me a buzz and heads up about this. It rattles the cage when you hear of an accident and it is someone you have met.

All the best to you Dave wishes and prayers as well, get better and take it easy.
I imagine that you will be joining the members who lurk for a bit until you can get riding again.

If anybody could update me by texting 027 632 4584 that would be appreciated as I don't have good ol' net access.

    Very NOT Good .....

I dont know if anyone else can read my rep points comment , But the one from Dave was written by a genuinely Good Person ,,,What ever happened was not good ,, One a positive note ,,,Its going to hurt for a long time ..its the internal injurys I am most concerned about ,,but hopefully ( and its lokking better from what I read here ) he will pull through ,,,

Best wishes ( for the family as well )

Its a bummer to read that someone who you regard as a great contributing member to this site has come to grief. Im sure he will be back at his keyboard as soon as phsically possible. Best wishes for a speedy recovery, hopefully nothing to lasting in the damage department.

    Update on Dave.

Have just been talking to Dave's parents and its still very serious and Dave's not out of the woods yet so perhaps if anyone was planning on going into see him tomorrow in hospital to please wait until you hear that it's OK as his family are having a hard time adjusting and while they welcome and appreciate everyones concern and best wishes, at the moment until Dave stabilises, they need time with him alone.

Yeah, all the best for the next few days mate.

I'll pop by the hospital later in the week. You haven't bid on that A100 parts book on trademe I told you about. I guess maybe I should just bid on it for you and pass it on.

Anyway, gws and all that. BTW you missed a good game of rugby and a rather decent piss-up at Kitty O'Sheas...

I'm sure there's a few still there who will have a few quiets for you...
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.
