Here's to a speedy recovery Dave. My thoughts are with all concerned.
It is never nice to hear about a biker going down. Thanks to CRASHE for giving me a buzz on my phone and letting me know. Dave, get well soon and my thoughts are with you and your family!
KB'ers in Wellington, keep us updated.
Update on Dave.
Have just been talking to Dave's parents and its still very serious and Dave's not out of the woods yet so perhaps if anyone was planning on going into see him tomorrow in hospital to please wait until you hear that it's OK as his family are having a hard time adjusting and while they welcome and appreciate everyones concern and best wishes, at the moment until Dave stabilises, they need time with him alone.

The only reason I only ride in the Iron man Class is I have no friends left to enter the two man events,
my own fault really.
Dave, hang in there mate - all the best for a speedy recovery
Experience......something you get just after you needed it
Yeah, all the best for the next few days mate.
I'll pop by the hospital later in the week. You haven't bid on that A100 parts book on trademe I told you about. I guess maybe I should just bid on it for you and pass it on.
Anyway, gws and all that. BTW you missed a good game of rugby and a rather decent piss-up at Kitty O'Sheas...
I'm sure there's a few still there who will have a few quiets for you...![]()
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

Lump lingered last in line for brains,
And the ones she got were sort of rotten and insane...
I've just got in and seen this....took awhile to get through the post and find out what happened, who it was and updates. Not good and I hope he pulls through - of all the guys here with a powerful bike he was the last I'd expect to get into trouble,he didn't seem like he pushed hard, loved and respected the bike too much.Take our strength mate,we have an endless supply for you.
