Good one Velox. I presume that was the bottle of Martinborough Beer from the Pub we had lunch at on last Saturdays ride? A beer that rode over the Rimutakas on the back a bike for Dave....well done

I popped in and saw Dave tonight - he was very chipper indeed. I think now that he can walk he's probably feeling a lot more positive. Yay Dave!!

Hi this is Sheila , Dave's mother (Stonechucker). This is the first time I'm trying this so hope it will work as I am a bit of an ass when it comes to this stuff. Dave told me to get Bruce to show me how to log in and use it but it's 4 in the morning and I'm at work so can't.
Hope you guys are all well. I met so many of you at the hospital , but was really feeling majorly spun out at the time and if you were all stark naked and walking on your hands it probably would'nt have registered.
HOWEVER I remember you all and you are great.
Dave is doing much better and so is his family , and you guys definitely get a lot of the credit for this.
    Hugs hugs and more hugs.

Yep I felt a bit of an idiot doing that at the hospital, but some part of it must have registered because I was finally able to attract your attention!!!

Good to have you on here Sheila. It's a shame we all had to meet you in these circumstances, but it's easy to see now where Dave gets his great personality from.

I got a text from Dave yesterday so it's great knowing I can get in touch with him now and keep checking how he's going. Is Dave on Prepay for his cellphone. If so we might have to send him some prepay cards so he can keep topping up to keep his fanclub happy!

Dave was saying yesterday that someone that works at the hsopital has offered to let him use her computer! Yay! So when he's up and about a bit more he'll be able to walk down and use her PC.

He also said it takes him a while to reply to texts.

Hi Sheila, I'll definitely keep my clothes on next time, just seemed appropriate that once for some reason.

    Hugs back at you.

Welcome Sheila! So glad you're able to pop in and say 'Gidday'. We don't care if you don't remember us - we just want Dave, Andre and yourself to be well and take care, if we can help with that then we're glad to.

    Cool

    Welcome Sheila ,

You and Andre' must also look after yourselves and keep well.

Its good to hear that Stonechucker is doing so well.
It won't be long before he is chasing the nurses around the ward.

Now that you have found out how the site works, come on in and keep us updated on that lad of yours.

I, like many others do live so far away from Wellington , and can't get in to see him, so all the updates are greatly appreciated.

    Take care.
    Crashe.

    Goodness me...

This is all good news on the Dave front!

Last night... It turns out the partner of one of my close co-workers is the very radiologist that spotted the bleeder and quite prossibly saved Daves life! (You ROCK G****** ) I have given her a hug from us all and a damn big thank you! Good people doing GOOD work here folks!

The Police investigation. I have made some .... erm! ' Inquiries ' through channels open to me. Tracking down the grey / white van (which may or maynot have been there) is a high priority but with nothing else to go on... It's going to be hard to figure out what exactly happened! Thus far, I have not heard a definitive answer...

    To Daves folks.

There is a huge resource of talent and people here. Dave is highly regarded here and if you need anything, please ask!

It's all good folks but PLEASE be careful out there eh?

    Cheers
