Man those Japanese bikes just fail to bits don't they. Especially when squashed between two 1500+kg objects.

Now to wait for people to start debating whether the rider should have been where he was, not splitting, not leaving an escape path, not checking his mirrors enough, wearing jeans, what sort of jeans are they, do they have armour, whether they would've smashed the driver. Can't wait.

    Ouch.

I'd be tempted to bend down and look under the car, saying (pick a random name) Sarah? Sarah?

But that would be nasty and unjustified.

No no no, that, is an epic thing to do!

I think the best I could have come up with is; "stay the fuck away from me for a few minutes".......

    Lucky lucky Man.

Wouldn't have happened if he had been wearing hi vis

Interesting to read his thread. The first reaction of many is to lawyer up. Makes you think that no matter how screwed up we think it is, our system seems to have its good points.

Just no strength to them aye... why in my day that bike would have stayed in one piece and turned around and given the car a right fork!!!!!

Shall I play the part of Katman this time? Yeah lets spoil his thunder...

"(Evil Dr Evil Laugh) What a moron it was clearly his fault. All his kids will be cursed with a great curse now because he didn't keep an eye on his mirrors.

...If he was riding a Katana it wouldn't even had got a scratch on it... etc. etc."

But seriously - I had the same thing happen to me years and years ago - fortunately mine was just a broken tail light, but the fright I got keeps me checking my mirrors every time I stop anywhere where a car rear end me. So yes, totally avoidable.
