I believe Boyd's has one on the showroom floor. Looking forward to seeing one in the flesh... and hoping to test ride one. I'd feel a bit guilty about replacing my present one, it's been a great bike.
I bet you a half of a six inch meatball subway that you buy it.

    Groan! That's what worries me!
I've already had a couple of good offers from dealers....

In saying that, though, my present sem fiddy still does it for me

Consider yourself lucky you dont want a new gen R1...that also has a fail front lobe.
As has the new Speed Triple (headlights)
I feel that if a few bike designers put thier heads togetherthen maybe, just mabye they could settle on a final look that does not resemble a kids transformer toy.

Ahhhh The GSXR750, The bike I have finally settled on for the upgrade.

I am hoping to get me a L1 in September.

I fell in love with the Showa Forks on the zx-6r and now they have put
them into the gixxer... and to top it off they put some Brembos on as well...

    ...Now just to wait...

Yeah, that zorst is same as my 600. I prefer the look of the K7 to the later ones but I hear once you put a carbon pipe on you save lots of weight.

Obviously I am biased, but there was something special about these years. Just before this I was looking up some states comparing the k7 to the L1. The k7 is 161 dry wile the L1 is 162 dry. Interwebs were my source so I could be way off here. Thing is though the K7 is around 92kw while the L1 is 111kw (this all refers to 600)

So, the L1's are the shizzle, but unless you are dicing Jaden for the 600 super stocks, the K7 will be very sufficient.

When you are sitting in the saddle, will you care what the front looks like? Get on it and ride.

am sitting my full licence in july. have heard rumours bike prices are going up due to japan's unstable disaster stricken economy though so might have to get the new bike and 'put it in the shed' until its insured (yeah right...). thing is i started out planning to spend 8k, then i saw the cbr600rr and it went up to 11-12k. now im looking at the gsxr750 going (hmmm whats another couple of grand for the mean machine)

Most new bikes look shit man. New Kawasakis look like a dog's breakfast.

Might as well start getting used to that.

They all went downhill after this point in time:
