    Speedieboy aces his test.

Yea I know I rant about my kids a bit but ya know a blokes gotta be proud when they do well.
Our oldest boy had his 15th birthday today. So at 7.30 this morning we toddled off to see the guys from RIDERSKILLS for him to sit his Basic skills and handling test.
He's been riding offroad bikes for years and he's punted a 150ss bike on the track a couple of times But other than a bit of "closed road or racetrack" training I've given him to get a general feel for the test he really had no idea what he had to do- I really diddn't want to teach him how to "pass the test" I thought that was cheating.
He was booked for just the test but the guys at Riderskills ran him through the 6 tests he had to pass and showed him how to do it. Then he had 10 minutes to practice before the test. Dunno who was more nervous him or me. He and I talked through how to do the skills and --well heck he just did it. His only trouble was figuring out what 10 seconds was for the slow ride.
The Riderskills guys were really cool but when it came to the actual test completely professional.
Anyway long story short he passed with an almost 100% perfect score. He only lost points for struggling to cancel the indicators, understandable when he hadn't a clue how those funny suzuki 4 way switches works.
So drum roll---Yep another Frosty biker joins the ranks

To see a life newly created. To watch it grow and prosper. Isn't that the greatest gift a human being can be given?
