Mine's more betterer: it's silent, works from ~50m away, and takes only one press of the button.
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

What a handy piece of equipment.
And so versatile, easily modified to open a gate.
I can think of many other modifications this could perform.....

The range of that unit appears a bit short. Is there a "stiletto" option?

They've evn managed to get the styling on the door opener right, which makes a change. Does that have the optional coffee maker as well?

The one I fitted seems to attract kitchen ironware in the direction of the horn. It must have some magnetic attraction fault. Perhaps I should claim under warranty?

Certainly sounds as if there is a wiring fault....
How long have you had it, don't they have a 3 year warranty?
Though I see looking at their website that the door opener model seems to be out of production..... James's one may be a grey import....

I have had one of those for 45 years.

It's programmed to open the gate, turn on the lights in the shed, open the shed door and put a meal on the table!

It is programmed for a few more activities as well but I wont brag about them because it doesn't always work as expected!

    BMW bike garage door opener

Its a real pain having to get off your bike then walk and open the door to ride your bike in... quite a well done setup:

Meh, I invented it years ago but unfortunately it's now in a state of disrepair, two taps on the horn and I automatically get a two finger salute from the kitchen window. I suppose I could fix it after all these years but frankly it makes too much noise even when it's working well.

    Good vid BTW.
    Oh bugger

I've had a few of those but found the maintenance costs too high
