    Last Summer Scramble for 2011

The weather gods are smiling this weekend as we hold our last summer scramble at Parakai. I went to the paddock last night and there are a couple of puddles but generally the soil is moist right thru.

Last months racing was , well, wet, so this Sunday it should be mint. The aim is to change the layout again for a bit more variety.

    See you all there.

Im keen again, its the Mr motorcycles ride for our mates at harrisville this sunday as well, if I were to go it would be just to help, as my riding skills there would suck.
Why would you ride that long and that gnarly stuff if you don't have to, Its what we do, we love it.

    Maize Paddock now included

Yep we've now got a 30 acre maize paddock to play in as well. Should have put a hare scramble on instead

Plan is to have a couple of rounds then open up option B as well.

Hey thanks to all who turned up today as the track and venue was mint.

Hopefully we can keep this going as there is bugger all racing for joe average (me) and also the intro type guys and girls.

It was really neat to see a whole heap of beginners cut their teeth today and hopefully this type of racing and the likes of the Mr Motorcycles maize paddocks racing gets more folks involved in the sport.

Good to have the regulars there with oldguy, clmintie and the twins, barty5 and Evan etc. Special thanks

Thanks Tony for a great day. It's great there are events on that cater for slow riders like me. I hope you continue the event next year.

Seriously think that there could be a case for a "The Man in Pink" fan club.

    Hard case video.

Well, you wonder why I always dress in pink,
Why you always see bright colors on my back,
And why does my appearance seem to have a cheerful tone.
Well, there's a reason for the things that I have on.
