So you are saying you don't know but believe he don't have to report it ? Maybe he might want to look futher than a prickly vine !

See you are back giving out stupid advice where perhaps you should move to a sunnier country where icecreams are sold in all weather
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

    Bowls can wait !

I agree, lack of insurance is his issue. If you can help at zero cost to you or if he is likely to influence your grades its up to you but I wouldnt go too far out of my way as you will get the run around....

Anything you read on The Internet is just opinion anyway. It's up to the individual to read and search further on the topic and make their own "truth", unless you'd rather just subscribe to mine or someone elses - probably not?

Google keywords; common law jurisdiction consent

I put the word out because I believe in it and I find it freeing, but hey I believe some really dangerous crap, or so people on here tell me. Curiously, it serves me well. What do you believe?
Well you're honest about it - which sort of counts in my 2cts. What do I believe in? Freedom but in the context of Satre - ie freedom is in the journey

He's asked me to go grab a couple of quotes from some shops for repairs and he'll pay out. Alot quicker than having to wade through insurance hassles too

I feel a bit for him though, apparently he's had a quote for the damage to his bumper and bonnet.. at $2600
Go through insurance man, if you've got all his details, your insurance co will be able to claim your excess back and refund it to you, all the work they do on your bike (Provided you go to one of their selected repairers) will be guaranteed and as I said if they refund your excess, your no claims discount wont be affected.

And the guy will probably find paying your excess will most likely be way cheaper than paying the repairs.

And DON'T let them charge you an additional age excess, your age and riding ability does not factor into how the damage occured so you shouldn't be penalised.

Ta - should have done that at first but that road code is really annoying with it's patronising, condensending, badly written, ill thought out, illogical, woolly thinking, 1960s dated, insular, (Have I left anythng out) . . . . so don't go there unless I have to.

You do realize that the insurance company will pursue the at fault party for all costs involved, not just to pay his excess.

Your insurance company is unlikely to charge you an excess as you will be declaring the party responsible. Only go to a repairer that can/will lend you transport (car or bike), the insurance company will pursue the other driver but only for indemnity (current value) not full replacement and any cost of a courtesy vehicle will not be part of that settlement. They will also allow him time to pay. You would be very unwise to do this privately as you will have no comeback if the repair is substandard or fails in the reasonable future.

I am a broker and do know what I am talking about, unlike another

You will also get a more speedy result. If you need to hire a bike for your test, that cost may be recoverable from the third party that hit you. Ask your claims handler.

    Good luck.

You accidentally spelt bullshit as 'beliefs' and clue as 'hidden agenda'. It makes more sense if it is fixed like so:

Your idea that the government of this country doesn't have the right to establish law is laughable and at the very least you should refrain from giving legal advice on a public forum. Seriously.
