    Always seems to be covered in shit though. Loose gravel left over from road works, current road works and a bit of mud thrown here and there.

    The road from Ngaruawahia to Whatawhata isn't entirely bad. A lot faster with some nice corners and a lot less physically and mentally draining than other road.
