If you have full comprehensive insurance you don't have to wait. Just inform your insurance company of all the details and you can get the bike fixed immediately. The insurance companies will sort it between themselves.
    Best wishes to Sam

Yep. Get your insurance company onto it. They'll take it all out of your hands and you'll probably get the bike back on the road quicker than if it's just left to the other party's insurance company. Also means you can concentrate on getting Sam better.

Yeah I have comprehensive insurance on both the bikes (the ZXR and the FXR). I called up my insurance company (Swann Insurance), and I spoke to a guy and told him what happened and asked him if I needed to full out any forms, and he said that because her insurance co (State Insurance) are sorting it out, just to leave it with them... and then if there are any problems to call him back and he'll hassle them for me. He also took down the ladys name and contach details and her claim number, as a reference incase she turns all nasty.
