Barry Briggs is in NZ for a visit and to promote his new book 'Wembley and Beyond'.

Nice bit was when Stretch produced a book from his childhood on the legends of Speedway and Barry signed it.

As a kid, I remember so well my father taking to to see Barry Briggs/Ivan Mauger/Ove Fundin and Ronnie Moore race at the Palmerston North showgrounds (as it was called in the 70's) all four on the track at one time...wow!
