    Deals gap R6 video

I liked it so thought I'd share. watch out oldies it has rap music in it an he does cross the centre line so dont watch if you understand sportbike riding/racing. Do watch if you have a 40 HD led hooked up to the net. Bad!!(that means good katman)

Nice vid. Those Ohlins forks do a nice job of keeping the front wheel on the road soaking up any undulations they come across.

I thought there was a racetech sticker on there somewhere? , Better have another look I guess. But yeah what ever brand it is it looks to be working very although only because of smooth throttle control. I'm sure with me on that bike the suspension would look similar to a 2$ hooker on P( a bit rough )

Lovely piece of road. If that was in NZ there would be fences and random WRB to make sure you couldn't injure yourself on a tree.
    Here for the ride.

He races in 600 Superstock in the states, on an '08 R6. If it's the same bike then it probably has reworked standard forks, not Ohlins.

Sweet! It looks to me like the forks say Ohlins on them. Where's RT these days?

You're right they are the standards - caliper mounts etc are black. They must have had work done to them though - the travel on them was something else. Normally standard they are rock hard.

Watching vids of guys that can actually ride always make me feel like a retard!

Although a 'fail' on that stretch of road looks like it would result in a pretty sweet tree or armco related death

I'm picking full Ohlins internals, pretty sure that's an Ohlins skicker on them so....

HAve you had a close look at your forks while riding your bike?

Anyway, I wish every Rimutaka squid had to watch that vid to see just how it SHOULD be done. 10 minutes of frantic thrashing, not a single "Oh shit" moment. Proper courtesay to other riders. Stayed in the correct lane where he needed to. THAT'S how to ride a bike right there.
