We've got my WR sufficiently close to the ground for me without having to resort to lowering links. It's a bit taller than the sherpa was, but it's pretty skinny, it's lighter than the sherp, and it carries its weight low.
But if she gets used to riding a WR, she may not want to 'upgrade' to a DR next year![]()
The road to hell is paved...
Found this one and dealer will do a clean swap...what do think? Hassle free, no pissing around trying to sell.

Easy enough to fix the "green".
Sounds like a decent deal.
Yep! Go for it. ----BUT------If you ever want to sell the Stockman,I think it would be harder to find a buyer,as it,d appeal to a smaller group.(Farmers, pighunters???)
The Trials outfit in Blenheim had one a week or 2 back listed on Treademe for about 2700....was a fair bit rougher but.....I drove as far as Kawatiri all sure that I was going to get it but I smoked a roach & the rest is history
Got a quad instead![]()
Well after some apprehension at seeing the wee stockman compared to the DR I took delivery. Its quite an ordinary looking bike and reminds me of the old farm bikes of the 90's.
Anyway took it for a bit of a spin on Molesworth and was pleasantly surprised. Took it up some pretty steep faces that I wouldn't attempt on the DR. Love the gearing and the way you can pick your way over the knarly stuff and flick it round and yet still get along comfortably at around 90k's on the road.
Couple of places had to walk it down as the wheels were locking up due to not being able to go slow enough to safely pick my way down.
All things considered very happy with it and now setting it up for spotlighting.
