Riding in Hawke's Bay?

So just curious where do ya'll ride round the bay?

Guppy rd if I need to try/test something out, and same with Chesterhope bridge, otherwise practice out Valley rd when they open that up. They're the only places I know of, otherwise racing down CHB, locally or across to Taupo.

anyone here that trail rides round here? i know a few places to ride but not for just anyone lol, its on private land

heaps of places if you know the right people. theres normally heaps of trail rides from October through to march theystart to thin out as the weather gets more crap.
Guppy rd is always good if you just want to go for a good cane!

Yea I do trail rides as well, but like D3aln mentioned, most of the trail rides are Jan-March. Theres REALLY good trail rides in Taupo put on by epic events, cant say enough good things about them.

I go to Guppy a lot, but since i started doing trail rides the river seems boring. Was planning on going out to Valley Rd track last weekend but the blody 125 was leaking water. Anyone know how often the Valley Rd track opens up for practice?

Just keep an out on http://hbmc.org.nz/ for when they have it open, usually friday night or saturday morning to see if its open, but with all this rain around...

yea i find the rivers ok when i havent got anybody to ride with but they do get a bit boring
