    Oceana VMX Meeting in Taupo over Easter

    I was surprised at the lack of entries, but I guess seeing as the last round of the VMX Nats has just finished that some folk have had enough/run out of money. Fair enough too. Some guys and Gals were going hard out though. Here's a few pics for ya...Click image for larger version.

    Mate...you can use it at a meeting if you want. I'll ride the CR! That way we'll be in a different class, and I won't have to suffer the indignity of having sand roosted in my face from my own bike!

    oh man they were riding the taupo mx track no wonder there was a lack of entries! i thought they usually roll in a flat paddock

    Doesnt Taupo have a nice big jump in it , ,,, here our local VMX uses the Only suitable track , which is the super cross track where they by pass the whoop section

    Lets just say the old Enfield now has dents in the front Mudguard .....hits the frame ...

    and the sprung saddle, boing .......

    Excellent pic's crasher,how did you get on?

    A bit of info race No 16 is Mark Ferguson on a YZ 490.No 2,Tom Vandenburgh on a 1979 CR 125 and No 30 Danny Willemson on a 1985 RM125 and a PE 400.
    Im not sure on No 33 he looks like a noob???

    There is no big jumps left at Taupo, even the centrepoint is a shadow of its former self.

    Im gonna find us a race pete! Yeah id be keen to line up old trashy haha
