Suzuki GF 250 Special

Hello there,

This bike (link to brochures below) has caught my eye and there's an 87' model that I've been considering buying. Problem is, information is so rare on these bikes and I have no idea what parts availability is like, or if they share components with other bikes. I've read that they share the same engine block and transmission as the GSX-R 250, but I have no solid confirmation of this. Coleman's Suzuki couldn't tell me much about it either. I'm guessing it's best to save my $$ for something a bit more common, but it can't hurt to find out a thing or two about this bike. Could anyone give me any information on this machine? Thanks

looks like it doesn't have anything in common with the gsxr, very different bores and strokes. bit of an oddball really, doubt you'll ever find parts for it.
