250 needs more power...

Hey guys, my 2010 Keeway Cruiser 250 definately looks the part but doesnt quite have the raw power that it looks like it should have.

Does anyone know of a quick mod that would give it that little bit more power I need to pass a truck?...

Everyone is just going to say buy a bigger bike because that is all you can do. 250 sport bikes are slow. 250 cruisers are even slower.

bore it out, change the fuelling, timing, compression, Polish the ports, better exhaust and intake.

turbo / supercharger and or Nos would work as well.

the problem is that you think it dhould have power.

sell it and buy a cbr/tzr/nsr/zxr 250 etc if you want more power/speed.

You can down gear it. This gives the feeling of power - but decreases you top speed.

likewise removing the exhaust will give others the impression it has power. its also a crap load of fun.

I think Tigertim said it, buy a 250 sports bike if you want that extra grunt,
otherwise save your pennies and wait it out, I waited untill I got my restricted and moved up to a 400, should keep me happy for a few more months haha
