I believe it has to have the restrictor in it to comply with the LAMS list (which is why it's on the list).

I'd love one for race duty, but never as a street bike.

how about a first bike? hahaha. Im game, ill let you know how i get on if i do purchase it.
from what i have read so far, most of the problems, eg sealant leaks, gasket issues, are on the 07 sxv engines.

Read up on the suggested maintenance intervals buddy.
yeh every 600km oil changes for road use. checked the biles service history its had all the addons and fixes applied. needs about $1k worth of work in about 12 months time given its ridden every day to and from work.

ok got a check done with dealer and this bike has not had the engine block reseal.
Funny how aprilia will cover 2x out of warranty known issue on it but wont cover the biggest which is the orange engine block sealant on the 06/07 sxv range.
bit bummed.
edit:Checked it visually, seal has been done.

Nice bike mate. Oil change every 5000km you are dreaming though... it's only 1.2 liters!
...Full throttle till you see god, then brake.
first ride today. runs like a dream. sounds and purrs deep cant help being a bogan and giving it a rev here and there ha ha. once its warm it runs smooth as. Easy to ride as well, and easy to keep with the speed limit. im well stoked.
needs a good clean though. wonder where everyone cleans there bikes here, most live in apartments so no hoses or areas to wash it.
