    Not standard that one

My sympathies also, so much work down the drain. I hope building them is half the fun for you

Thank you for the support! I'm going into hospital Wednesday to have two broken bones in my right wrist screwed back together. Still and all, my hand would have been shredded / tendons nerves and whatnot, along with the bony bits were it not for the gloves.

As for the insurers in the States to whom I have paid a total of five figures US$ worth of insurance premiums in the last 4 years - Progressive Insurance - three weeks after the claim was notified to them, and names and contact people at 2 dealerships very familiar with this specific bike given to them, they have not even managed to work out whether they want to repair or total the bike - and if so what its book value is. I am not surprised... I am not even disillusioned (that would imply I was illusionful to start with)... but I am a tad disappointed.

Quite different from the medical insurers. Five figures worth of orthopaedic treatment coming up tomorrow and they approved it last week within half a day of the request getting to them. Kudos to GMC insurance!!!

And although I have ridden with all the gear for many years, I'll probably getting even tougher gear when I can ride again!
